Amber Court Assisted Living Communities are family owned facilities, built to offer outstanding care to the elderly. There are six Amber Court communities in Greater NNY, including two on the North Shore of Long Island. The Amber Court in Westbury is a larger, active community. They are one of the very few Assisted Living communities in Nassau County that accept Community Medicaid to pay for part (though not all) costs associated with residency, and for Nassau County they are one of the best choices for seniors using Medicaid to pay for part of the costs of assisted living. They have a large Wellness Department, and both general practice physicians and specialists visit every week. There is a large common room for events and activities, and large outdoor space with a BBQ grill, and various trips to local attractions. Seniors with wheelchairs are welcome, as are more active residents.
