We Can Help

We Can Help

Assisted Living Locators of Long Island is part of a national network of 140 offices, each offering personalized service in the areas in which we live. Our company has 14 years of experience helping families and seniors sort through the many good senior care options with professional support and guidance. We spend time working closely with families to understand the needs of the senior(s). We will also physically tour two or three carefully selected assisted or dementia care communities with you (safety permitting), looking for the best fit.

We can help clarify and, in some cases, negotiate the details of fitting into a community. This personal service is similar to a no-cost concierge service for senior living.

How It Works

Assisted Living Locators of Long Island is a senior placement service. Even though this is a commonly available national service, most people don't know about the work of placement agents until they need one. Here at Assisted Living Locators, we have a great deal of knowledge about senior care communities throughout Long Island, as well as a wide perspective about what's available. If we are able to place you or a family member in one of these communities, the community pays us a fee.

Our 4-Step Process

In-Depth Assessment of Your Needs

We want to learn as much as we can about your family’s unique needs and requirements. We dig deep to understand what your family needs and wants in both a new living situation and other support services.

Thoughtful Analysis & Recommendations

An Assisted Living Locators care advisor will meet with you and your family to discuss available and appropriate options. We evaluate all aspects of your family member’s situation to find the right match, including health care needs, religious and political affiliations, mobility requirements, budgets, desired social activities, preferred locations, and everything that makes your senior unique.

Assistance with Selection Process

We are committed to being compassionate and concerned with your family’s specific needs. We are your comprehensive guide to matching the care you desire with the available living options on Long Island and beyond. The facilities in our network reimburse for our services so that we can remain at no cost to you.

Transition Support

When we evaluate a senior living community, we examine not only the amenities but also the special features and characteristics. After we verify the services you need are met by the community, we consider the unique aspects that will make the difference in selecting a home best suited for your loved one. We work with the entire family to ensure the transition process is smooth and reassuring.
